Gary Scherbert, PE, Joins SCS Engineers in Atlanta, Georgia, Office

Atlanta, GA - SCS Engineers (SCS) is pleased to announce that Gary Scherbert, PE, has joined the company as manager of the firm’s growing Atlanta, Georgia, office where he will lead solid waste projects for government and private clients.

Mr. Scherbert is a registered professional engineer with over 20 years of solid waste and environmental engineering experience with both private and public sector clients.  He has worked on a wide variety of projects across the U.S. and internationally including Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Ukraine.  Prior to joining SCS, Mr. Scherbert served as Region Vice President and District Manager for Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure, Inc. in Atlanta.

Mr. Scherbert earned his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Arizona.

The addition of Mr. Scherbert to the Atlanta regional office will enhance SCS’s service to its growing number of solid waste and environmental clients in the Atlanta metropolitan area and throughout Georgia.
